Justin Bieber to host 'Saturday Night Live' in February
Justin Bieber is set to make his debut as a "Saturday Night Live" host on February 9.
The 18-year-old singing sensation will also perform on the episode, according to the announcement by NBC on Wednesday, January 9. He is on to promote his new album "Believe Acoustic" which goes on sale on January 29.
"So the word is out...it is true...im Performing and HOSTING SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE on FEB 9th!!! GET READY! #NothingIsOffLimits #BELIEVE," Bieber Tweeted on Wednesday.
Bieber performed on the show in April 2010 and has appeared in a few skits since then including the 100th Digital Short where he sang alongside Andy Samberg. He also appeared in a "Church Chat" skit when Dana Carvey returned has host in February 2011.
"Saturday Night Live" will return from hiatus on January 19 with "Hunger Games" and "Silver Linings Playbook" actress Jennifer Lawrence as host with musical guest The Lumineers. "The Voice" coach and Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine will host the next episode on January 26 with musical guest Kendrick Lamar.
Earlier this month, Bieber made a special visit to one of his fans. The singer spent some time with 7-year-old leukemia patient, Millie Flamm, while in her hospital room at the Primary Children's Medical Center on Saturday night.
