Justin Bieber took to his Twitter page to respond to remarks made by "Crime Scene Investigation" star Marg Helgenberger on Friday during an interview on French radio program "Le Grand Direct des Médias."

"I shouldn't be saying this, but he was kind of a brat," Helgenberger said when asked about the Bieber's appearance on the show. The singer filmed two episodes this season as a guest star playing Jason McCann, a troubled teen.

Bieber's character met his end in February when he was gunned down by several officers including Nick Stokes, played by George Eads. Bieber appeared in two episodes of the long running drama.

Helgenberger, who has played crime-scene investigator supervisor Catherine Willows on the show for 11 seasons, shared a scene with Bieber.

"He was very nice to me," she explained. "But he locked one of the producers in a closet. And he put his fist through a cake that was on the craft service table."

Back in July, the singer did, in fact Tweet about locking an executive producer in a closet while filming his episode.

"Yes I did prank the EP of the show...somebody got locked in the closet. ;)," he wrote on July 24, 2010.

"It's kinda lame when someone you met briefly and never worked with comments on you," Bieber wrote on his official Twitter page on Monday. "I will continue to wish them luck and be kind."

He later said, "I know who I am and sometimes people r just going 2 say what they want. Keep ur head up and be the man ur mama raised. #killemwithkindness." He added, "Don't spread gossip and don't spread rumors about others...I'm a kid and I know that. #respect."

Helgenberger did compliment Bieber's acting efforts. "He'd never acted before," she said, "he's better than you'd think."
