Justin Bieber movie planned for 2011Justin Bieber, 16, will star in his first feature film about his life, set to be released on Valentine's weekend in mid-February 2011, Paramount Pictures, MTV Films and Island Def Jam Music Group said in a statement on Tuesday.

"When the idea for a movie first came to us, we knew immediately this was our chance to give something very special back to the all fans who have been a huge source of inspiration and support throughout my entire career thus far," Bieber was quoted as saying.

"They simply make my dreams come true everyday," he said. "I cannot wait to share all the great experiences Ive had over the last few years with them."

The film, which is still untitled, will also feature 3D footage from his largest concert, which took place during his current "My World 2.0" tour, the statement said.

The teen pop star is also set to release a memoir called Justin Bieber: First Step 2 Forever: My Story. Its publisher HarperCollins said it will reveal the teen sensation's "amazing journey to stardom."

Bieber grew up in Canada and captured the attention of industry executives several years ago by posting homemade videos of himself singing songs, including Usher's, on YouTube. This self-promotion eventually led to a meeting with Usher and a record deal. He now lives in Atlanta with his mother.

His fans are loyal and many follow him everywhere. Some have even threatened women pictured with him, such as Kim Kardashian, and have even become so unruly that they have prompted the cancellation of his concerts

When the singer landed in New Zealand earlier this year to promote his music, screaming fans who had been waiting for his arrival crowded him so much that even tightened security could not stop his mother from being knocked down to the ground. His hat was also stolen and later returned.

Usher has said he wants to be involved in Bieber's career for a long time. Bieber is currently touring the United States and says he plans to soon perform in other countries. Bieber is also set to make his acting debut on the season premiere of CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, in which he plays a "bad man".
