Justin Bieber investigated for battery following neighbor's complaint
Police are investigating teenage pop star Justin Bieber on suspicion of battery after a reported confrontation with a neighbor.
Bieber, 19, has not commented. A police spokesperson said in a statement obtained by OTRC.com that a man who lives near the singer's home in a gated community in Calabasas, near Los Angeles, had called police at 9:08 a.m. on Tuesday, March 26 and authorities then arrived to investigate the incident. The man is accusing Bieber of misdemeanor battery and of making threats.
"He's a punk," the man's family said in a statement obtained by OTRC.com. "He thinks he's invincible. He can't continue to have a bunch of enablers around him. It was a very unpleasant and upsetting situation. We are a close-knit, family oriented community and we will not tolerate this kind of craziness."
No arrests have been made and the case remains open.
