Justin Bieber announces he's working with Rascal Flatts on next album
Justin Bieber is looking to cross over genres for his next album.
The young singer revealed on his Twitter page that he is collaborating with the country music group."I love @Rascal Flatts and Im honored that they are making music with me," Bieber wrote.
According to Entertainment Weekly, who first reported news of the collaboration, Rascal Flatts singer Gary LeVox told a Nashville radio station "[Justin] asked us to do a duet with him on his next record. It's actually a really good song!"
On Friday, one other member of Rascal Flatts, Jay DeMarcus, celebrated his own bit of good news, he became a father for the first time.
His wife, former Miss Tennessee and CMT personality, Allison DeMarcus, gave birth to a baby girl named Madeline Leigh DeMarcus on Friday.
The child was born three weeks before the official due date and weighed 6 pounds, 9 ounces at birth. DeMarcus and his wife met when she appeared in a video for Rascal Flatts and wed in 2004.
