Justin Bieber, 16, and Jasmine Villegas, the 16-year-old star of his "Baby" video and the opening act of his "My World 2.0" tour, were recently photographed hugging in Hawaii weeks after photos of the two kissing surfaced online.
Bieber played two concerts in Honolulu and he, Villegas and his friend Jaden Smith, son of actor Will Smith, enjoyed a boat ride."Hawaii great night and great vacation here," Bieber wrote on his Twitter page. "Me, jaden, and @JASMINEVILLEGAS all had a great time. thank u. cant wait to come back!!
Photos of Bieber and Villegas hugging were posted on justjaredjr.buzznet.com. Despite speculation, Bieber has not commented on a possible relationship with Villegas. Photographs of the two kissing in the back seat of a Honda in Los Angeles were posted online in late September.
Bieber has not officially been linked romantically to anyone previously. Several of his fans sent death threats to reality star Kim Kardashian, 29, after she and the teenage singer were photographed attending an event together. They later posed for a joint photoshoot inspired by the film The Graduate, which depicts a young college graduate falling for the wife of his father's business partner.
Bieber and Villegas are set to tour the United States and Canada through December. In addition to singing, Villegas, a native of San Jose, California, has guest-starred on the Disney Channel show That's So Raven and the sitcom My Wife and Kids.
Bieber is set to release his first book on Tuesday called Justin Bieber: First Step 2 Forever: My Story. He has also inspired a collection of Nicole by OPI nail polishes called "One Less Lonely Girl", which is named after one of his songs and which will be sold at Walmart department stores in December.
