Julio Iglesias Jr. weds model Charisse Verhaert in Spain

Julio Iglesias Jr., brother of singer Enrique Iglesias and son of Julio Iglesias, has married Belgian model Charisse Verhaert in his native Spain.

The younger Julio, 39, and his bride, 30, had been together for eight years before they exchanged vows in a private ceremony at the El Rincon estate in Aldea del Fresno, outside Madrid, on November 3, according to Hola! magazine.

The Spanish singer's parents, Julio Iglesias and Isabel Preysler, and older sister Chabeli, 41, attended his wedding but Enrique, 37, was unable to do so due to work commitments, the Spanish news agency EFE reported.

Verhaert wore a gown by designer Manuel Mota for the Barcelona-based label Pronovias, according to EFE and Hola! magazine. She modeled designs from the company's bridal collection in 2011.
