Josh Duhamel on being kicked off plane for texting: 'Lesson learned'
Josh Duhamel, an actor and husband of Black Eyed Peas singer Fergie, says he has learned his lesson after recently being kicked off a plane for refusing to turn off his Blackberry phone.
His spokesperson said earlier this week that Duhamel was sorry. The actor was texting on his Blackberry about his flight being delayed while he was on the aircraft, which was on the runway in New York.
"I learned that it's best to always turn them off," Duhamel told the "Access Hollywood" program recently. "Not my favorite moment. Lesson learned."
The plane, which was scheduled to fly to Kentucky, was sent back to the gate following the incident and the actor was escorted off. Passengers are prohibited from using cell phones and other electronics during certain times of flights, including take-off.
Duhamel has appeared in movies such as "When in Rome" and "Transformers" and most recently starred in the comedy "Life As We Know It" with Katherine Heigl.
