Entertainment News: jon hamm
Don Draper has finally met his match, and it's not at the end of a Lucky Strike cigarette.
Jon Hamm appears alongside Elmo in a recently released YouTube video, which is scheduled to air on the "Word of the Day" segment for "Sesame Street" on PBS this week.
When viewers last saw the characters of "Mad Men," Don Draper's wife Megan had finally booked her first major acting gig, a commercial. While prepping for the shoot, Don left the studio and headed to the bar where he was approached by a young blonde asking, "Are you alone?"
OTRC.com talked to the cast and creator of "Mad Men" about the show's upcoming sixth season and while many admitted they could not reveal much, they were able to drop some hints about the answer to the "are you alone" question, what might be in store for the characters this season and what kind of style we'll see on the show.

Jon Hamm dishes out valuable dating advice to teenage girls in the latest installment of Rookie magazine's monthly "Ask A Grown Man" video series, such as - yes, it's okay to break wind in front of your love interest.
The 41-year-old actor, who plays flirty and suave ad executive Don Draper in AMC's 1960s drama "Mad Men,", has been in a relationship with director and actress Jennifer Westfeldt for more than 10 years. He answers five questions in the clip and says that it's "probably in your best interest" to pay attention to what he has to say.

Jon Hamm made his directorial debut with the fifth season premiere of "Mad Men," which airs on Sunday, March 25, and called the experience "incredible."
"I had a really wonderful time doing it," Hamm told OnTheRedCarpet.com at the series' recent premiere. "This was an incredible experience to get a whole different perspective on the show that I thought I knew pretty well. It was really, really fun and the crew really helped me out."
Jon Hamm can pull-off the suave Don Draper on "Mad Men," but the actor told Playboy magazine that acting has its share of awkwardness, especially during love scenes.
"It's like running in the rain. There's a certain point when you go, '[Expletive] it, I'm already wet. I'm not going to get any less wet, so I might as well just enjoy how this feels,'" told Playboy magazine for their April 2012 issue. "I mean, sure, there's awkwardness about being in a weird flesh-colored thong, bouncing on top of an actress."
Jon Hamm hasn't apologized for calling Kim Kardashian and Paris Hilton idiots, but he did clarify his statement after Kardashian spoke out against the "Mad Men" star.
"It's surprising to me that it has become remotely a story... I don't know Ms. Kardashian, I know her public persona," Hamm told E! News at a Paleyfest event on March 13. "What I said was meant to be more on pervasiveness of something in our culture, not personal, but she took offense to it and that is her right."
Kim Kardashian is not happy about Jon Hamm calling her an "idiot."
The 30-year-old reality star fired back at the 41-year-old actor on her Twitter page on Monday, calling him "Careless." Hamm, who plays suave ad executive Don Draper on the AMC show "Mad Men," had made his comments to ELLE UK magazine in an April 2012 interview.
Jon Hamm has admitted that he doesn't understand why reality stars like Paris Hilton or Kim Kardashian are idealized.
"Whether it's Paris Hilton or Kim Kardashian or whoever, stupidity is certainly celebrated," Hamm told Elle UK magazine for their April issue, according to the UK's Daily Mail. "Being a [expletive] idiot is a valuable commodity in this culture because you're rewarded significantly."
