Joey Fatone gives advice to Justin Timberlake, references 'fiance' Jessica Biel
Joey Fatone recently gave some relationship advice to former 'N Sync band mate Justin Timberlake, referencing his "fiance" Jessica Biel.
Timberlake, 31, and Biel, who turns 30 on Saturday, March 3, have not confirmed officially that they are engaged, following multiple reports that have been published in recent months. They have been dating on and off for the past five years and have kept details about their relationship private despite stepping out together at public events.
Fatone, 35, performed alongside Timberlake throughout the 1990s with their popular boy band 'N Sync. In a recent interview with Parade magazine, when asked if he had any relationship advice for Timberlake, Fatone said: "Don't listen to all the BS."
"Especially in his situation, he and his fiance - I haven't really talked to him about everything yet - but they're both in the limelight as well," he said. "It's tough for those celebrity couples. It's really hard. My wife wasn't in the limelight, which made it easier."
Fatone, who recently appeared on the Food Network show "Rachael vs. Guy: Celebrity Cook-Off," and wife Kelly Baldwin have been married for more than seven years, since September 2004. They have two daughters - Briahna, 10, and Kloey, 2.
"The key is to keep it happy, light, and fun," Fatone told Parade. "There can be a lot of drama, like when you have kids. And both of them have jobs where they are taken to different places. It's the communication that really needs to drive that relationship."
In March 2011 it was confirmed that Timberlake and Biel had split after four years of dating. The following August, the pair were spotted together in Toronto, Canada, dining and riding bikes. Since then, the pair has attended numerous parties and celebrity events together.
In January, People magazine quoted a source as saying they recently got engaged. The magazine said on February 29 that Biel was recently "showing off her sparkly engagement ring on the patio at the West Hollywood hotel Chateau Marmont while hanging out with a friend," although she has not been photographed with it yet.
Timberlake, a pop singer whose acting career took off after the 2010 film "The Social Network," and Biel, who rose to fame with the series "7th Heaven," have never been married before.
