Joe Manganiello of 'True Blood' is ready to rumble
Joe Manganiello was just promoted to series regular for True Blood's fourth season. "Yes, Alan Ball has asked me to be a full time werewolf. Its going to be a lot of fun, the star confirmed to OnTheRedCarpet.com.
So whats next for Alcide Herveaux? According to the actor, Lots of meat eating, lots of transformations, and lots of fighting."
Warning True Blood spoilers ahead!
Manganiello doesnt quite know what is down the pipe for his character on the show but tells reporter Rachel Smith, Well, in the books Alcide goes from being a construction worker that wants to be left alone to & he winds up becoming pack leader. Theres all this fighting and basically this pack war to see who is going to be the alpha.
Im sure Alan [Ball] has something cooked up thats going to be that good, if not better, he told Smith.
Viewers got to see Manganiello in the buff last week after Alcide transformed back in to his human form to help save Sookie. The actor says he doesnt sweat the nudity too much. I feel better because Im not the only one that has to, he said. We all kind of have to. So, it kind of makes it a little bit easier.
Joe Manganiello made his comments to reporter Rachel Smith at the recent 150th anniversary event for watch manufacturer TAG Heuer.
