Joe Jonas releases first solo single, 'See No More'
Joe Jonas has officially launched his solo career with the release of his first single, "See No More," which he co-wrote with Chris Brown.
Jonas released a video teaser for "See No More" last week and premiered the song on Chicago radio station 96.3 on Friday morning. The track will be available for download on iTunes on June 13.
"It's exciting, you know? I mean, having my brothers' support in this whole project is the biggest thing for me and the fact that they are loving the music and everything," Jonas told the morning DJs J and Jillian. "Being onstage by myself, you know? It will be different for sure. I know there's going to be that little bit of jitters that I'll have to get out of me that are just going to be there."
Jonas and his brothers Nick and Kevin made up the pop-rock band the Jonas Brothers. They starred in the Disney Channel original series, "Jonas."
Jonas plans to release his solo album on September 6, 2011. He told OnTheRedCarpet.com at the Billboard Awards last month that his solo music will be different from The Jonas Brothers.
"I think it's a little bit of a different flavor, just style-wise," Jonas told OnTheRedCarpet.com. "As you get older, you just start to grow up musically and even with the clothes you wear. It's a whole new direction musically and I'm just excited for the fans to hear it."
In March, the 21-year-old pop singer broke up with Ashley Greene, a 24-year-old actress who plays Alice in the "Twilight" movies. The couple began dating in the summer of 2010.
Besides Greene, Jonas has dated singer Taylor Swift, fellow Disney star Demi Lovato and actress Camilla Belle.
