Jimmy Fallon revealed the name of his newborn daughter during his opening monologue on "Late Night" on Wednesday, July 25.

"Welcome to 'Late Night with Jimmy Fallon.' I'm your host, Dada," Fallon joked in the monologue, which can be viewed below.

He later added, "I'm a father of a beautiful baby girl. She's so cute. Her name is Winnie Rose Fallon and she's so cute. She's 5 pounds -- I'm giving all the details -- she's 5 pounds 9 ounces. I got it down to the ounce, that's how I weigh myself as well."

"It's just soo cute having a baby and me and my wife are so happy and thank you all for all the well wishes on Facebook and Twitter and the blogs," he said. "Now I understand why people are on Facebook. I get it now. I get it -- that's why these pictures exist. I'm showing strangers pictures like, 'You wanna see my baby? You wanna see my baby? Look at my baby!'"

"Yes, William and Kate will definitely set up a playdate. Stop bothering me," he later joked about the royal baby.

It was reported on Wednesday that the 38-year-old comedian and his wife, Nancy Juvonen, welcomed a baby girl on Tuesday, July 23, at 6:21 a.m.

Fallon and Juvonen, a 46-year-old producer who runs a film production company with Drew Barrymore, married in December 2007.

In April it was announced that Jay Leno is once again leaving "The Tonight Show" in spring 2014 and Fallon will be his replacement.

In May it was announced that "Saturday Night Live" writer and cast member Seth Meyers would replace Fallon as the host of "Late Night" when Fallon moves over to "The Tonight Show."

NBC said in its statement that as part of the transition, "The Tonight Show" would no longer be taped in Los Angeles and would return to its original filming location -- New York City, home of "Late Night," and that "Saturday Night Live" showrunner Lorne Michaels would serve as the new executive producer.
