"Late Night" host and former "Saturday Night Live" cast member Jimmy Fallon is a dad.
The 38-year-old comedian and his wife, Nancy Juvonen, welcomed a baby girl on Tuesday, July 23, at 6:21 a.m., Fallon's spokesperson confirmed to People magazine. It is the first child for the couple. No other information was released.
In a statement to the magazine the spokesperson said the two are "overjoyed about the arrival of their beautiful daughter."
Fallon and Juvonen, a 46-year-old producer who runs a film production company with Drew Barrymore, married in December 2007.
In April it was announced that Jay Leno is once again leaving "The Tonight Show" in spring 2014 and Fallon will be his replacement.
In May it was announced that "Saturday Night Live" writer and cast member Seth Meyers would replace Fallon as the host of "Late Night" when Fallon moves over to "The Tonight Show."
NBC said in its statement that as part of the transition, "The Tonight Show" would no longer be taped in Los Angeles and would return to its original filming location -- New York City, home of "Late Night," and that "Saturday Night Live" showrunner Lorne Michaels would serve as the new executive producer.
