Jillian Michaels has announced she will return to the NBC weight loss reality show "The Biggest Loser" after a two-season absence, despite saying almost two months ago that she had no intention to do so.

The 38-year-old fitness trainer has starred on the show on and off since 2004 and last left the series in 2011. She made the announcement about her return on Tuesday, September 4, on NBC's "Today" show, adding that the upcoming 14th season of the series will feature overweight teenagers, rather than adults, and that the format change contributed to her decision to come back.

Despite reports that Jillian Michaels has asked to return to "The Biggest Loser" following her exit from the daytime series "The Doctors," the trainer said on her official Facebook page that the reports are untrue.

Sources close to the situation also told OnTheRedCarpet.com that a salary disagreement will keep her from coming back to the reality competition series.

Jillian Michaels' home invader faces 22 years in prison after stealing the former "The Biggest Loser" personal trainer's Bentley and other personal items.

The 29-year-old parolee, Gerjuan Deshon Harmon broke into Michaels' Malibu home while she was watching television with her child and a nurse. Authorities said that Harmon stole her purse, which contained keys to the Bentley, and an Audemars watch, which were both on a kitchen table.

Fitness guru Jillian Michaels woke to find that her home had been burglarized and her Bentley stolen, her rep confirmed to OnTheRedCarpet.com.

"Thanks so much for all your concern regarding the burglary. We are all fine & that's what counts. Stuff is just stuff after all," Michaels Tweeted on July 5.

After years of waiting to adopt, fitness guru and former "Biggest Loser" coach Jillian Michaels, 38, is finally a mother - of two children.

Her girlfriend, Heidi Rhoades, 31, gave birth to a baby boy, Phoenix, on May 3. The same week, Michaels also brought home a 2-year-old girl named Lukensia from Haiti.

While Jillian Michaels has motivated overweight contestants on the NBC reality show "The Biggest Loser" to drop the pounds, one of the hard line trainer's toughest challenges may be behind her.

Michaels, 37, told Fitness magazine in an interview published in its July/August 2011 issue that her least favorite part of her own body is her butt.

"Biggest Loser" coach Jillian Michaels is reportedly playing the 'waiting game' in her attempt to adopt a baby in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, according to Us Weekly.

The 37-year-old told the magazine on Monday, "My dossier, which is your paperwork portfolio, is in to the Democratic Republic of the Congo." She adds, "So the paperwork is done, and now it's just a waiting game. It could be six months, twelve months; it could be two years. Or, it could be tomorrow! They call you and they say, 'Oh, we have your referral,' which is essentially the child they match you up with, and you go overseas and you get him or her."

Jillian Michaels, who is set to leave the weight loss show "The Biggest Loser," will later this year become a co-host on the syndicated daytime talk show "The Doctors."

Michaels, a 37-year-old trainer and health and wellness expert, will also serve as a special correspondent on Dr. Phil McGraw's syndicated therapy series "Dr. Phil," "where she will focus on similar lifestyle issues," CBS said in a statement.

Jillian Michaels says she is trying to adopt a child from Africa, almost two months after she announced she would leave "The Biggest Loser" and wanted to become a mother.

Michaels, 36, has been featured as a trainer on the show on and off since 2004. She said in December that she would leave NBC's hit weight loss reality show at the end of the current 11th season in order to start a family.
