Jillian Michaels' home invader faces 22 years in prison

Jillian Michaels' home invader faces 22 years in prison after stealing the former "The Biggest Loser" personal trainer's Bentley and other personal items.

The 29-year-old parolee, Gerjuan Deshon Harmon broke into Michaels' Malibu home while she was watching television with her child and a nurse. Authorities said that Harmon stole her purse, which contained keys to the Bentley, and an Audemars watch, which were both on a kitchen table.

Michaels noticed the missing personal items and car on July 4. After filing a police report, officers found a man driving the stolen car. After a pursuit, the driver crashed the Bentley into a light pole, jumped out and fled on foot and was captured and arrested.

Harmon was charged on July 6 with burglary, grand theft auto, evading police, unlawful driving or taking of a vehicle, first-degree burglary with a person present and hit-and-run driving. He was originally scheduled to appear for arraignment with a recommended $290,000 bail, but was also jailed on a parole hold.

Harmon was on parole for prior felony burglary charges, receiving stolen property and petty theft convictions. If convicted, he faces 22 years in state prison.

"Thanks so much for all your concern regarding the burglary. We are all fine & that's what counts. Stuff is just stuff after all," Michaels Tweeted on July 5.

The 38-year-old trainer became the mother of two children in May. Her girlfriend, Heidi Rhoades, 31, gave birth to a baby boy, Phoenix, on May 3 and Michaels brought home a 2-year-old girl named Lukensia from Haiti the same week.

She and Rhoades, whose nickname is Mouse, have been linked together since at least 2009. Michaels has posted many photos of her girlfriend on Facebook.

She talked about her love life in an interview with Ladies Home Journal, saying: "Let's just say I believe in healthy love. If I fall in love with a woman, that's awesome. If I fall in love with a man, that's awesome. As long as you fall in love ... it's like organic food. I only eat healthy food, and I only want healthy love!"

Michaels had announced her departure from "The Biggest Loser," in December 2010, saying she wanted to take a year off to bring home a child and focus on her charity work. She was featured as a fitness trainer on the NBC weight loss reality series on and off since 2004.

In 2011, worked as a co-host on the syndicated daytime talk show "The Doctors" for half a season.

Michaels has her own collection of fitness books, video games and DVDs and released a new one, "Kickbox Fastfix," in March.
