Jessica Simpson to guest judge for 'Project Runway' finale

Jessica Simpson showed up as a guest judge for Project Runway on Thursday during an event at New Yorks fashion week, reports The Los Angeles Times.

The singer will serve on the judges panel for the finale of the hit reality series and got to sit in with regular judges and fashion superstars Michael Kors and Nina Garcia.

So what makes Simpson qualified to judge fashion? Well despite having her own fashion mishaps every now and then, Simpson designs her own line of handbags, shoes, and boots. She also recently premiered a denim line.

Meanwhile the host of Project Runway, Heidi Klum, teased attendees saying, "I have never gotten so emotional or attached to the designers."

Seems like fashion fans are in for a good finale. Other audience members included Entourages Jamie Lynn Sigler and former American Idol champ Jordin Sparks.
