Jessica Simpson says that for her second wedding she'd like everything to be "simple."

Other than that, Simpson hasn't planned much since it was announced on November 14 that she and boyfriend Eric Johnson were engaged.

"We have not started planning," Simpson, 30, said during the "Christmas in Rockefeller Center" live telecast Tuesday according to to People. "I'm trying to get through all this promotion & Who knows what will happen?"

During her appearance on "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon" last week the singer revealed the details of how Johnson popped the question. "He had talked to my dad, he had talked to my mom, he even talked to my sister. "Everybody knew but me," Simpson said. "He kept the ring hidden in a shoe at my house."

According to Simpson, Johnson made sure the event was private and special. She told Fallon, "It was at my house. It was romantic that he actually asked me at my house, because that's my little safe haven."

As for the wedding planning, Simpson said at the tree lighting, "I personally have no idea. I have not set a date and I can't even think about putting together like table settings and all that." She added, "We're just going to enjoy the engagement and we'll get married the moment we feel like it."

This will be the second marriage for both Simpson and her new fiancé. Johnson, who played for the San Francisco 49ers and then the New Orleans Saints before he was released from his contract in 2008, filed for divorce from his wife in January. The divorce was finalized in September 2010, according to People.

Simpson and Nick Lachey starred on the MTV reality show "Newlyweds: Nick and Jessica", which documented their married life together before their divorce in 2006.
