Jessica Simpson celebrates 30th birthday in Italy with new love

Jessica Simpson is celebrating her 30th birthday Saturday on the Italian island of Capri with her new boyfriend ex-NFL player Eric Johnson.

I thought I had it figured out, she told Us Weekly about turning 30.  I'm going to be this great pop star, be married, have babies, but things can be taken from you."

Meanwhile E! News reports that Johnson is actually still technically a married man. Though he filed for divorce from his ex-wife in January, it has yet to be finalized.

Simpson has had her share of high profile relationships including her televised nuptials to Nick Lachey for their show Newlyweds, John Mayer referring to her as sexual napalm, and her on-again-off-again pairing with Dallas Cowboy star Tony Romo that lasted for two years until he dumped her last year on the eve of her 29th birthday. 

Simpson is also one of several celebrities making an appearance on Entourages seventh season including Diddy, former heavyweight boxing champion and new reality TV star Mike Tyson, Lenny Kravitz, Maria Menounos, Stan Lee, Carrie Fisher and Queen Latifah.
