'Jersey Shore's second season premiered Thursday but President Barack Obama is not a fan

Despite huge buzz surrounding the fist pumping cast of Jersey Shore, who debuted their second season on Thursday, President Barack Obama admitted on The View he does not know who the shows break out star even is.

When asked by Joy Behar whether Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi should run as the mayor of Wasilla I gotta admit, I dont know who Snooki is. Though he assured the audience he does keep up on some entertainment news saying, I knew Lindsay was in jail.

Soon the Jersey Shore stars will welcome a new "Guidette" to comb the beaches of Seaside Heights, New Jersey. Deena Nicole Cortese will replace Angelina Pivarnick who, once again, has left the show.

Unlike most of the Jersey Shore cast, Cortese, 23, is actually from New Jersey according to RadarOnline, who first broke the story. She likes to have a good time, Corteses mom Joann told RadarOnline. She has a good heart, she has a sweetheart, she might not show it but she really cares about other peoples feelings, she really does.

Season two, which premiered July 29, was filmed in Miami and Seaside Heights.
