Jeremy Renner accidentally popped Viagra on plane - See Video
Jeremy Renner, who is currently promoting his highly-anticipated action film "The Bourne Legacy," recently appeared on "Jimmy Kimmel Live" and shared what happened when a friend gave him the sexual stimulant Viagra instead of the sleeping pill Ambien.
"You know, I just realized how much traveling I do. And a lot of times, when you're on the plane, you have to sleep, and I can't sleep on a plane," Renner told Kimmel on July 24. "I remember I had to fly from London to Los Angeles for dinner, and then get right back on the plane to London. I had to sleep on the plane, so somebody gave me some pills, the Ambien, so great."
"I take a little sleeping pill, pop it - and realize nothing's happening, but something else is happening," Renner continued. "I realize very quickly that that [letter] A, was actually a little [letter] V on that pill. Not only did I not sleep the entire night...I had camping happening."
Renner, 41, is currently doing heavy press for "The Bourne Legacy," which requires the actor to fly all over the world. Renner went on to describe how miserable the rest of his flight was.
"There was no walking," he said. "If I had to go to the restroom, it was so embarrassing...I was in pain!"
Renner, who recently starred as Hawkeye in "The Avengers," will portray Aaron Cross in the upcoming adventure thriller. The film is centered on a new hero, Cross, whose stakes have been triggered by the events of the previous three films (See photos).
In November 2011, the California-native talked about his mysterious "Bourne" character to OnTheRedCarpet.com.
"My character is called Aaron Cross," Renner said. "But he ends up having a bunch of different names. For fans of the franchise, ['The Bourne Legacy'] has that same ticking clock, but it's a new program and new characters."
Renner is known for his roles in films such as "The Town," "Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol" and "The Avengers." The actor gained widespread fame after his Oscar-nominated starring role in the war thriller "The Hurt Locker."
