Jennifer Lopez was whisked away by security during a recent TV interview in Florida, where she was also filming a music video, after someone reported to authorities that gunshots were heard nearby.

Police officials told local newspaper the Sun Sentinel that after an investigation, there was no evidence of a shooting and there were no known witnesses or injuries.

Cops received a report at 7:30 p.m. on Sunday, May 5, about shots being fired in a parking lot near Fort Lauderdale Beach Park. The 43-year-old pop singer was unharmed and was inside her vehicle at the time.

Lopez had been filming an interview for the show "Entertainment Tonight." Minutes after the police received the report, co-host Rob Marciano Tweeted: " BREAKING: Gunshots fired on Fort Lauderdale Beach DURING my JLo interview. No kidding. Security scrambled her away."

Lopez was also in the area filming a music video with Pitbull for her new song "Live It Up," the reported. The single is set for release on May 8.
