Jennifer Lawrence to star in, produce 'The Rules of Inheritance'
Jennifer Lawrence is truly a force to be reckoned with.
The 22-year-old actress, who recently won her first Oscar for her role in "Silver Linings Playbook," is now adding a new title to her resume: Producer.
The starlet is set to star in and produce "The Rules of Inheritance" alongside director Susanne Bier. The film, which is still in the beginning stages of development, will mark her first venture into producing.
The movie is set to be an adaptation of the memoir of the same name by Claire Bidwell Smith, about the hardships she went through when both of her parents were diagnosed with cancer when she was 14, according to Entertainment Weekly.
Lawrence won't be alone in the project, with Bruce Cohen -- who worked with her on "Silver Linings Playbook" -- also producing. Abi Morgan of "The Iron Lady" is penning the script.
The actress, who was also nominated for an Oscar for her work in the 2011 film "Winter's Bone," has been turning heads recently due to her red carpet style -- and, her love life.
In late April, Lawrence and her "X-Men: First Class" co-star, Nicholas Hoult -- who dated for two years before splitting in January -- were spotted together at The Little Door, a romantic French restaurant in Hollywood.
The actress can next be seen in her numerous new films, including "The Devil You Know," "Serena," "The Hunger Games: Catching Fire," "American Hustle" and "X: Men: Days of Future Past."
