Jennifer Lawrence turned heads at the 24th Annual GLAAD Media Awards in Los Angeles on Sunday, April 20th -- donning a noticeably shorter hair style.
The 22-year-old actress, who won an Oscar for her role in the 2012 film "Silver Linings Playbook," debuted a shorter, wavy hairstyle at the GLAAD event. The shoulder-length style, which The New York Times dubbed the "haircut of the year," features side-swept bangs and soft layers.
The actress sported a black David Koma dress that she paired with strappy Nicholas Kirkwood heels and jewelry by David Webb. Donning nude lips and smoky eyes, she completed her look with her wavy new 'do.
Throughout Oscar season, the actress rocked her trademark blonde locks. Shortly following the ceremony, Lawrence was seen going back to brunette for her role in "The Hunger Games" sequel, "Catching Fire."
At the star-studded event, Lawrence introduced former president Bill Clinton, who received the Advocate for Change Award. The ceremony was held at the JW Marriott in Los Angeles and was hosted by actress Drew Barrymore.
