Jennifer Lawrence reunites with Nicholas Hoult
Actors Jennifer Lawrence and Nicholas Hoult reportedly broke up earlier this year -- but could their relationship have a "silver lining"?
The "X-Men: First Class" co-stars, who dated for two years before splitting in January, were spotted together at The Little Door, a romantic French restaurant in Hollywood.
The UK newspaper The Daily Mail obtained photographs of the pair> as they exited through the eatery's back door to Lawrence's waiting car. The 22-year-old actress appeared to have a half smile on her face as she departed in a white lace top, black pants and her new short haircut, which she debuted at the GLAAD Media Awards in Los Angeles.
Lawrence, who recently won an Oscar for Best Actress for her work in "Silver Linings Playbook," was also holding a copy of "Anna Karenina," a Russian novel by Leo Tolstoy about a scandalous love affair. The actress will also have onscreen romantic intrigue in her upcoming film, "The Hunger Games: Catching Fire," in which her character Katniss Everdeen prepares for a marriage amidst a media frenzy. Lionsgate, the movie's distribution company, recently released photographs of Lawrence dressed in a postmodern wedding gown, along with stills of her cast mates in costume.

The "Winter's Bone" actress told Elle in November 2012 that she considered Hoult, the star of films "Warm Bodies" and "Jack the Giant Slayer," her "favorite person."
"[My boyfriend] is honestly my best friend, and hopefully I'm his best friend too. He's my favorite person to be around and makes me laugh harder than anybody," Lawrence said, when she and Hoult were still dating. The pair had appeared arm-in-arm together in May 2012 at the Monte Carlo Grand Prix, but had split by January 2013, according to People magazine.
Both actors are currently working together to film the next installment of the "X-Men" franchise, "X-Men: Days of Future Past." They will reprise their former roles, with Lawrence portraying the shapeshifter Mystique alongside her 23-year old companion, who plays the Beast. The movie's predeseccor, "X-Men: First Class," featured several flirtatious scenes between these two characters (pictured above).
The film, which is directed by Bryan Singer and also stars Hugh Jackman, Ian McKellen, James McAvoy and a pregnant Halle Berry, is set to be released in the summer of 2014.
