Jennifer Lawrence hosts 'SNL,' pokes fun at Oscar competition (Videos, poll)
Jennifer Lawrence showed off her competitive side on the January 19 episode of "Saturday Night Live."
The Oscar-nominated starlet, who recently won a Golden Globe for Best Actress, appeared on the sketch comedy show to poke fun at her Academy Awards competition in her opening monologue, saying: "Ladies, I love you all, but you're about to get served."
The actress went on to playfully criticize her fellow nominees, starting with Jessica Chastain.
"Well, well, well, look who it is ... Jessica Chastain," she said. "More like Jessica Chast-ain't winning no Oscar on my watch. In 'Zero Dark Thirty,' you caught Bin Laden. So what? In 'Winter's Bone,' I caught a squirrel and then I ate it. Boom. Deal with that."
The "Silver Linings Playbook" actress went on to explain her "I beat Meryl" comment from her Golden Globes acceptance speech, and also talked with the "most fun person she's ever met" - Tommy Lee Jones.
In one skit, the 22-year-old actress channeled her inner-punk to play Jessie for the "Girlfriends Talk Show," where she talked about everything from her multiple piercings to her "really cool" experiences in New York - where she's been, like, two or three times.
Also, Lawrence played Busty Rhymes, a "lyrical assassin" who attempted to impress the hosts at hip-hop station B-108 with her impressive rhymes - which fell short, every time.
