Jennifer Lawrence comforts crying fan at 'Catching Fire' premiere
Jennifer Lawrence made an emotional fan very happy at the premiere of "The Hunger Games: Catching Fire" in London when she stopped on the red carpet to greet the child, who was in a wheelchair.
Videos of the encounter were posted on YouTube and on the website of the UK newspaper The Daily Mail (watch below).
The 23-year-old actress, wearing a long, bright red coat over a white Christian Dior Fall 2013 gown with multicolored, speckled embellishments, is seen kneeling in front of what appears to be a sobbing little girl in a wheelchair. An adult woman snaps a photo of the two with a cell phone and the actress then hugs the child.
"The Hunger Games: Catching Fire" is set for release in the United States on Nov. 22. Lawrence reprises her role as heroine Katniss Everdeen. The fantasy-action movie also stars returning actors Liam Hemsworth, Josh Hutcherson, Woody Harrelson and Elizabeth Banks.
