Jennifer Aniston: A Big Mac 'made me feel terrible'

07/03/2013 by Kristina Lopez

Jennifer Aniston is known for her fit figure, so it's almost no surprise that the actress isn't too used to eating fast food.

However, Aniston explained during a recent interview that not only is she not used to eating fast food, eating a Big Mac from McDonalds recently made her stomach turn.

The 44-year-old actress was talking to New York magazine about her beauty regimen and clean eating habits when she was asked if there was ever a time where she had no other choice but to grab fast food.

"I'll never forget when Justin and I were on a road trip and we were so hungry. The only thing around was McDonald's. I think I ordered a Big Mac," she told the magazine. "Wow, my body did not react well to that! It was like putting gasoline in a purified system."

"I am always trying to eat organic and natural foods, so that just made my stomach turn and made me feel terrible," she added. "And I think what you put in your body, as well as stress, is reflected in the quality of your skin."

Aniston, who will next appear on screen as a stripper in "We're The Millers," previously talked to OTRC.com in April at an event promoting her longtime friend and yoga instructor Mandy Ingber's book, "Yogalosophy: 28 Days to the Ultimate Mind-Body Makeover." Aniston chatted about her exercise regimen and what body part she struggles with fitness-wise.

"I always struggle with my butt," she told OTRC.com.

"When I decided to work out with her [Ingber], doing yoga, I was just ready for something different and it was just perfect timing for where I was in my life and I just started to see the results and that just got me excited and I just felt stronger," Aniston said. "I did feel stronger in my mind and in my heart as well as my body because she's so encouraging and so inspiring when she's teaching."
