Jennifer Aniston has 'cupping' marks on back? (Photos)
Jennifer Aniston showcased some curious circular marks on her back at a recent screening for Lifetime Television's "Call Me Crazy: A Five Film" in Los Angeles.
People magazine reported that they were "probably the result of cupping, a Chinese form of alternative medicine designed to promote circulation." Aniston, who wore a strapless Dior bustier and shorts at the event on Wednesday, has not commented.
"Call Me Crazy" airs on April 20 and is an extension of the cable network's "Five" franchise, which was released in 2011 and was about breast cancer. Aniston directed one of those films and serves as an executive producer of both projects.
"Call Me Crazy" is made up of five more shorts and is about women suffering from various mental illnesses. The parts are directed by actresses Ashley Judd, Bonnie Hunt, Bryce Dallas Howard and Laura Dern and "Bridget Jones Diary" director Sharon Maguire.
"In this style, the challenge for us was to create five films that were entertaining, informative and able to sort of address a taboo issue so ... people could remove the shame around it," Aniston told OTRC.com.
"Because that's the biggest problem with people that we know and women that we've studied on this topic is that it's the shame issue around it that keeps them from speaking about it or seeking help and there's no reason why you can't be living a lovely, happy, joyful life," she said. "This is not a shameful thing. Talk to your children, talk to your spouse, talk to go talk to someone yourself and stop torturing yourself."
The list of cast members of "Call Me Crazy" includes "Ghostbusters" actor Ernie Hudson, "Modern Family" star Sarah Hyland, Lea Thompson of "Back To The Future" and "Caroline in the City," "Hairspray" actress Brittany Snow and Oscar winners Jennifer Hudson, Melissa Leo and Octavia Spencer.
