Jenna Fischer tells Jay Leno she is expecting a baby boy in the fall
Jenna Fischer, who plays Pam Halpert on "The Office" is expecting a son in the fall, the actress announced on "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno" on Tuesday.
"This is the exclusive, Jay," Fischer told Jay Leno. "When I went to my movie premiere the other day a reporter asked me if I knew what I was having, and I said I do, but I'm not sharing that yet because I'm [going to] have Jay be the first to know."
The actress announced her pregnancy in May and told the late night host that her son is set to arrive in late September. It will be the first child for Fischer, 37, and her husband, screenwriter Lee Kirk.
The actress tied the knot with Kirk on July 3, 2010. The couple became engaged in June 2009 while vacationing in Europe together. This is the first marriage for Kirk and the second for Fischer, who divorced director James Gunn in 2007.
Fischer will next appear in the tragicomedy "A Little Help" about a newly widowed mother, who gets entangled in a series of lies while trying to take care of her 12-year-old son. The movie is slated for release on July 22.
