Jenelle Evans threatens divorce on Twitter, reportedly files assault charges against husband
"Teen Mom 2" star Jenelle Evans has split from husband Courtland Rogers, according to her Twitter page, and at least one report claims the reality star has filed assault charges against Rogers.
Evans recently confirmed that she is expecting her second child, her first with Rogers. Her lawyer told E! News in a statement on January 23 that Evans "has taken charges out on Courtland Rogers" in North Carolina including four counts of assault on a female with an unborn child. The charges are misdemeanors, according to the report.
Evans' attorney went on to say that the most recent assault occurred on January 21.
Earlier in the day Evans Tweeted about getting a divorce "ASAP." She wrote that she "might be having a miscarriage" and then added several expletives directed at Rogers.
On her official Facebook page, a member of her entourage posted that Evans was hospitalized on January 22 but would not say why. However, Evans posted on the page on the evening of January 23 saying that she spent the day with her son Jace and her mother, Barbara.
Evans, 20, and Rogers, 27, wed on December 4 in a courtroom in Brunswick County, North Carolina.
The couple briefly split in late December when Rogers claimed Evans broke up with him because of a phone conversation with his ex-girlfriend and daughter. However, the two reconciled by the time Evans announced her pregnancy.
