Jenelle Evans of 'Teen Mom 2,' calls off engagement to Gary Head
Jenelle Evans, a cast member on "Teen Mom 2," and on-again, off-again boyfriend Gary Head have ended their engagement.
The 20-year-old reality star apparently got in a fight with Head over his indiscretions when they were on a break. Evans took to Twitter to air the dirty laundry and accused her ex of stealing a $300 necklace from Tiffany & Co.
The pair were still exchanging loving messages on the micro-blogging site on the morning of May 31, but things were apparently off by that evening.
By evening, Evans had Tweeted, "Thanks to @gary_head for stealing my $300 Tiffany necklace... What marine does that ?!"
Head told his followers, "Her necklace is at her house hidden untill [sic] I get my ring back."
In addition to the engagement ring issue, Evans accused Head of breaking down her door and posted a photo of the cracked frame, which Head claimed he would fix on June 1. She also mentioned a gun, but did not elaborate, only mentioning later that it was a gift she bought him on his birthday.
On June 1, Evans accused Head of cheating on her, writing, "if u never went and cheated on me and getting yr [expletive] sucked in a parking lot then I would trust u more."
Evans told her followers that she and Head had talked to police who told her that the ring belongs to her unless Head takes her to civil court.
Evans also alluded to the fact that her mother was given temporary custody of her son Jace.
Evans announced the engagement on May 16, posting a photo of her engagement ring (pictured above).
"I'm the luckiest girl in the world to have @gary_head in my life," she Tweeted.
Evans, who is from Oak Island, North Carolina, has a 2-year-old son, Jace, from a previous relationship. She and Head, 22, began dating several months ago and broke up in April, after which she reunited with her ex-boyfriend Kieffer Delp. She and Head later reconciled.
"Teen Mom 2" documents the challenges of four teens' first years of motherhood and its season 2 finale aired in February. The show is a spin-off of reality series "16 and Pregnant" and "Teen Mom," whose fourth and final season is set to premiere on June 12.
