Jemima Kirke of 'Girls' welcomes her second child, a baby boy
Jemima Kirke of the HBO television series "Girls" is reportedly a mom again.
The 27-year-old actress and her husband, Michael Mosberg, welcomed a son named Memphis on November 20, according to People magazine. Kirke and Mosberg are already parents to a 2-year-old daughter named Rafaella Israel.
Kirke and her husband have been together for four years and married for three. The two met in a doctor's office, according to an interview Kirke did with VICE earlier this year [Warning: Article contains nude images and explicit language]. In that same interview, which she conducted while pregnant, she indicated that she did not know the sex of the baby but said she had advice if it were a boy.
"If I have a boy, I'll probably just tell him to be nice to women. Being humble and sweet is the hardest thing you can do," she said.
On the show "Girls," Kirke plays Jessa Johansson, a bohemian who comes back to New York City in the pilot and, in the first season finale, ends up married. Kirke and "Girls" star and creator Lena Dunham had been friends for years before the series and Kirke had a role in Dunham's film "Tiny Furniture" in 2010.
"Girls" was renewed for a second season in April and season 2 is set to premiere on January 13. Check out a preview for the new season below.
