Jane Carrey, Jim Carrey's daughter, and husband Alex Santana end marriage
Jane Carrey, actor Jim Carrey's 23-year-old daughter, and husband Alex Santana have broken up after one year of marriage.
The two married in November 2009 and are parents to baby son Jackson Riley, Jim Carrey's only grandchild, who was born on February 26.
Jim Carrey's spokesperson told OnTheRedCarpet.com the couple has decided to end their marriage and "will remain friends, as well as devoted parents to their 9-month-old son, Jackson Riley."
Jane Carrey and Santana are also musicians. She performs with her alternative rock group, the Jane Carrey Band, while he is the lead singer of metal band Blood Money.
Jane Carrey is Jim Carrey's only child and her mother is Melissa Womer, a producer and former waitress at the Comedy Store, a club that helped launch the actor's career and which was featured in his 1999 movie "Man on the Moon". The two were married between 1987 and 1995. He was also married to actress Lauren Holly, his co-star in the film "Dumb and Dumber", between 1996 and 1997.
