Jamie-Lynn Sigler is dating Cutter Dykstra
Jamie-Lynn Sigler, formerly of "The Sopranos" and "Entourage," is dating baseball player Cutter Dykstra, OnTheRedCarpet.com has learned.
The 30-year-old actress and the 22-year-old Washington Nationals minor league infielder have posted photos of themselves together and have Tweeted affectionate messages back and forth for more than a month. A source close to the two told OnTheRedCarpet.com on Tuesday, March 27, that Sigler and Dykstra have been dating for that period of time.
The two were introduced to each other through Dykstra's friend and New York Yankees baseball player Nick Swisher and his wife Joanna Garcia, an actress who is best friends with Sigler. The four follow one another on Twitter.
Dykstra, who joined Twitter in December, Tweeted on March 22, following a Florida trip: "@JamieLSigler had an amazing time with you, i miss you so much. The last week flew by. Have a safe flight and kick ass on the pilot , so happy for you."
He is referring to a family comedy pilot Jimmy Fallon is producing for the CW Network that stars Sigler and centers around three men in their 30s and their lives as parents.
The actress and Dysktra visited Disneyland with a group of friends earlier this month and appeared cozy in a photo taken of the two that was posted on Dykstra's Twitter page on March 4.
"@CutterDykstra best. Time. Ever. Oh my god," Sigler Tweeted, to which he repeated: "Oh my god."
Last month, the two joked back and forth on Twitter about watching the ABC dating show "The Bachelor" and Tweeted photos of themselves together, singing karaoke at a bar. According to Dysktra's picture caption, the two sang the Kid Rock and Sheryl Crow duet "Picture." Sigler called Dykstra her "new fav karaoke partner."
Sigler, who played Meadow on the show "The Sopranos," previously dated Jerry Ferrara, her love-interest on "Entourage." She met him on the set of the HBO show in 2008. The broke up a year later. In 2010, the actress was linked to NFL player Mark Sanchez for several months. Sigler has been married as well - she and her then-agent, A.J. DiScala, wed in 2003 and divorced in 2005.
Dykstra is the son of former New York Mets and Philadelphia Phillies baseball player Lenny Dykstra, who was earlier this month sentenced to three years in state prison after pleading no contest to grand theft auto charges.
