The piece, which is titled "Why Actors Act Out, was printed in the newspaper on Wednesday, Feb. 20. In it, Franco brings up LaBeouf's plagiarism controversy, the time the 27-year-old actor wore a paper bag on his head at the Berlin Film Festival and LaBeouf's participation in the #IAMSORRY art exhibit.

Leighton Meester, who famously played New York socialite Blair Waldorf on the CW show "Gossip Girl," will make her Broadway debut in a 2014 revival of the play "Of Mice and Men," joining James Franco and Chris O'Dowd.
The story is based on John Steinbeck's 1937 novel, which focuses on migrant ranch workers George and Lennie. The two travel west across the United States in search of jobs during the Great Depression. Franco will play George, while O'Dowd will take on the role of Lennie. Meester is set to play the wife of their boss' son, Curly, and gets cozy with Lennie.

The trailer for the film "Oz: The Great and Powerful" made its debut at Comic-Con in San Deigo on July 12 and features glimpses from the world of Oz and the CGI technology used in the film.
The film stars James Franco, Mila Kunis, Michelle Williams and Rachel Weisz and is adapted from the L. Frank Baum novel "The Wonderful Wizard of Oz." The trailer can be seen below.
