Ivanka Trump to release footwear, handbag collections Ivanka Trump, a businesswoman and daughter of Donald Trump, has teamed up with Marc Fisher Footwear to launch a collection of "moderately priced" footwear and also plans to release a handbag line, both of which are set to hit stores in the spring of 2011.

Trump, who already has her own line of jewelry out, recently Tweeted: "Just concluded a meeting with my handbag partners. The bags look amazing!!! Ladies..you'll love them! The line will be in stores next March," adding that she wants them to "be accessible to everyone."

The 28-year-old's handbag line will be launched in partnership with licensee Mondani and her footwear collection will include stilettos, flip-flops, sneakers and ballet flats, Women's Wear Daily reported on Monday.

"Theres a great opportunity to position stylish, yet refined, shoes," Trump said. "What you tend to see are totally unwearable, over-the-top styles, or [looks that are] comfortable to the point of forgoing any appealing aesthetic. Im going for the middle."

Marc Fisher Footwear President Susan Itzkowitz said the prices for the shoes will range between $80 and $140 and will be sold in department stores in the U.S., Canada and Mexico. The collection is set to debut at the Fashion Footwear Association of New York next week.

"I like glamorous, classic [styles] and dont want things that are overly trendy or seasonal," Trump said. "I tend to be drawn to more timeless pieces, but I also want a bit of edge. I tend to like pointed toes and thinner, stiletto-type heels over heavier, clunkier styles. But I recognize that Im on my feet a lot at work, and the shoe has to feel good."
