Hillary Scott of Lady Antebellum fame weds fiance Chris Tyrrell
Hillary Scott, a singer from Lady Antebellum, wed fiancé Chris Tyrrell, the couple announced on Lady Antebellum's official website on Sunday, January 8.
"I'd like to introduce you to Mrs. Hillary Scott Tyrrell," Chris Tyrrell says in the video. Scott, 25, holds up her hand to display the wedding ring.
We got married!" Scott adds. "We just wanted you to hear it from us first. We love you. We're so excited to be starting our life together and we just had to let you in on the exciting news."
Scott and Tyrrell wed on January 7 in upstate New York, just before sunset, surrounded by friends and family.
The video continues with footage of Scott Tyrrell wearing a wedding gown and Tyrrell in a gray suit standing by a lake in the woods. The couple became engaged over the Fourth of July weekend in 2011 in East Tennessee.
According to the wedding announcement on the band's official site, the bride wore a gown custom made by Vera Wang with strapless mermaid dress with abstract all-over lace underlay, layered tulle skirt with horsehair banding and hand-cut corded lace appliqué with hand-applied crystal and pearl beading. The groom donned a gray Ermenegildo Zegna suit.
Lady Antebellum, which includes band mates Charles Kelley and Dave Haywood, recently released their third album "Own the Night" on September 13. The group took home five Grammys at the 53rd annual Grammy Awards.
Scott met Tyrell on the Tim McGraw tour in 2010. Tyrrell is currently the lead drummer for Love and Theft.
