Helen Mirren shakes up 'Saturday Night Live' as host - How did she do?
Helen Mirren might be known for her dramatic roles including her Oscar Award-winning role in "The Queen," but the actress has been known to show off a sassy comedic side too.
The "Arthur" star hosted "Saturday Night Live" on April 9, with musical guest the Foo Fighters. During her stint on the show, Mirren played Julie Andrews, Helena Bonham Carter and spoofed "The Kennedys" by staring in a fake Reelz film "The Roosevelts" as Eleanor Roosevelt.
During the sketch, which makes fun of the historical inaccuracies of "The Kennedys," Mirren plays Roosevelt as a lesbian who makes out with Marilyn Monroe (played by Abby Elliot). Though, as the sketch's fake historian notes, this would've been impossible because Monroe would've have been five-years-old at the time.
Check out Mirren as Roosevelt below and vote on how the Academy Award-winning actress did with her hosting stint on "Saturday Night Live."
