Heather Morris of 'Glee,' victim of nude photo hacking scandal
Heather Morris is the latest celebrity to be targeted in a nude photo scandal.
Racy photos of the "Glee" star hit the web recently, showing her in various stages of undress and in several photos, she appears to be nude. The actress has yet to comment on the shots, which have since been removed from websites, at the request of the actress' attorney.
Morris, who plays dim-witted cheerleader Brittany on the FOX musical comedy series, previously dealt with controversy when nude modeling shots of her surfaced online in 2010. The actress said at the time that she wasn't ashamed of the photos.
"I kind of thought it might happen," Morris told Extra. "I understand completely where it came from. For me, I think they are beautiful. It's not something I'm ashamed of. Everybody should do tasteful beautiful nudes - so when you get older, you're gonna be like, 'Oh that's when my body looked so great!'"
Morris made headlines for a different controversial photo shoot in September, when she posed with a black eye for photographer Tyler Shields. Some women advocacy groups believed the shoot glamorized violence against women.
The 25-year-old got her start on the series when she was brought in to show the cast how to do the dance for "Single Ladies" after she performed as a backup dancer to Beyoncé on "Saturday Night Live" and the American Music Awards. She also competed on season two of "So You Think You Can Dance."
Morris made an immediate impression on the show's writers between takes and her small role was turned into a regular part.
