Heather Locklear engaged to Jack Wagner, 'Melrose Place' co-star
Heather Locklear is engaged to Jack Wagner, an actor who played her love interest on the original "Melrose Place" drama series, OnTheRedCarpet.com has learned.
The 49-year-old actress began dating Wagner, 51, in 2007, a year after she and Bon Jovi guitarist Richie Sambora ended their 12-year marriage
The two have one child, a 13-year-old daughter named Ava, who is a model and is set to appear in Judd Apatow's new comedy film that is set for release in 2012.
Locklear's spokesperson confirmed to OnTheRedCarpet.com on Friday, August 12, that the actress was engaged to marry Wagner. No further details were revealed and it is unclear when the proposal was made. People magazine, which carried the initial report, said Locklear was photographed recently sporting a diamond ring.
On the primetime drama series "Melrose Place," which ran between 1992 and 1999, Locklear and Wagner played on-again, off-again couple Amanda Woodward, a ruthless advertising executive, and Peter Burns, a doctor. Locklear reprised her role in a short-lived remake in 2010. Wagner currently plays Nick Marone on the CBS daytime soap opera "The Bold and the Beautiful."
This is not the first time Wagner has become engaged to an on-screen love interest.
In the 1980s and early 1990s, he and his first wife, Kristina Wagner, starred together on ABC soap opera "General Hospital," playing power couple Andrew 'Frisco' Jones and Felicia Cummings. The actors wed in real life in 1993 and divorced in 2006. They have two sons - Peter, 20, and Harrison, 16.
Sambora was Locklear's second husband. The actress was married to Motley Crue drummer Tommy Lee between 1986 and 1993. They have no children.
