U.S. concert in four years next month at the Rock N' Rev Festival, part of the Sturgis Rally's 70th anniversary celebration in Sturgis, South Dakota.

The iconic rock band, headed by Axl Rose, will headline the fifth and final night of the self-proclaimed "world's biggest, baddest biker event" on August 13.

The band became famous in the 1980s and 1990s with hits such as "Welcome to the Jungle" and "Paradise City". However, band members such as guitarist Slash and drummer Steven Adler have since left or quit the group amid drug issues and legal disputes.

Adler details his addictions, as well as his overdoses, suicide attempts, heart attacks and jail stints in his new memoir My Appetite for Destruction: Sex, and Drugs, and Guns N' Roses, which was released on Tuesday.

"To be honest, I've had--like all addicts--relapses. But I'm going on five months right now," Adler said on The Howard Stern Show on SIRIUS-XM satellite radio.

Others set to perform at the Rock N' Rev Festival are rock groups Daughtry, headed by American Idol finalist Chris Daughtry, as well as 3 Doors Down, Stone Temple Pilots, Godsmack, Creed and Three Days Grace.

"We are truly blessed to be able to announce the addition of Guns N' Roses at this historic moment in the band's history, along with Daughtry, just as we relocate the Rock 'N Rev Festival to our own amphitheater at Monkey Rock USA," Daniel E. Catullo III, co-founder of the festival's production company, DC3 Global, said in a statement.

Guns N' Roses has been touring Asia, Canada, South America, Central America and Europe since the group released its 2009 album, Chinese Democracy, which was not touted as one of their bigger successes, especially in the United States.

Guns N' Roses performed several secret shows during New York's Fashion Week earlier this year, Rolling Stone had said. The group is set to return to perform a series of concerts in Europe at the end of August.

Tickets for the Rock 'N Rev Festival can be pre-ordered at Ticketmaster.com and Rocknrevfestival.com and cost $45 per day or $150 for a five-day pass.
