ABC has revealed the fall 2011 premiere dates for new and returning shows, including the network's hit medical series, "Grey's Anatomy."

A two-hour premiere of the show's eighth season is set to air on September 22. Also returning - "Dancing With The Stars," which begins season 13 on September 19, "Castle," which returns for a fourth installment that day as well and "Desperate Housewives," which stars airing season 8 on September 25.

Several weeks ago, "Grey's Anatomy" actor Patrick Dempsey was quoted by Italian Vanity Fair as saying that the next season of the medical drama "will be my last," adding: "I don't know what will happen with the other characters, but for me, it's done."

The actor's spokesperson told OnTheRedCarpet.com that Dempsey "was referring to the fact that his contract is up at the end of next season and we have no idea what the future holds."

ABC had no comment on the matter. Dempsey's co-star and on-screen love interest, Ellen Pompeo, has also hinted in recent interviews that she will make her exit once her contract is up next season.

On the previous seventh season, Sara Ramirez' character Callie Torres married her girlfriend Arizona Robbins. Ramirez recently revealed she is engaged to her boyfriend Ryan Debolt. This will be the first marriage for the actress.

Last month, ABC also revealed details about its new programs, such as remake of "Charlie's Angels" and the drama "Pan Am." Other new shows are "Apartment 23," "Good Christian Belles," "Man Up," "Missing," "Once Upon a Time," "Revenge," "The River," "Scandal," "Suburgatory," "Work It" and "Last Man Standing," a comedy starring Tim Allen of "Home Improvement" as a sporting goods store worker.

"Charlie's Angels" is based on the hit 1970s show starring female crime-fighters working for the mysterious boss Charlie. The reboot stars Rachael Taylor, Annie Ilonzeh and Minka Kelly. "Pan Am" is based on the former American airline company and, like the hit AMC show "Mad Men," is set in the 1960s. It stars Christina Ricci, Margot Robbie and Jonah Lotan.

"Once Upon A Time" stars "House M.D." actress Jennifer Morrison as Emma Swan, a young woman who is believed to be the long-lost daughter of Snow White and Prince Charming. The series also stars "Big Love" actress Ginnifer Goodwin.

Among the shows set to air later in the 2011-2012 season are returning programs "Cougar Town" and new show "Good Christian Belles," which stars Leslie Bibb as a former high school "mean girl" who returns home after her marriage ends in scandal. The series, which is based on Kim Gatlin's book, "Good Christian Bitches," also stars "Glee" actress and Broadway star Kristin Chenoweth.
