Grace Van Cutsem, bridesmaid, covers ears during royal wedding kiss
While Prince William and Kate, duchess of Cambridge, kissed on the balcony of Buckingham Palace after the Royal Wedding on Friday, April, 29, one little girl found the excitement to be too loud.
The little girl seen covering her ears, perhaps because of the screaming crowd or planes flying over the palace, is Grace Van Custem. She is the 3-year-old bridesmaid and daughter of Hugh van Cutsem, a close friend of Prince William's, according to Vanity Fair. She is also Prince William's goddaughter and the great-great-great-granddaughter of William Waldorf Astor.
Other members of the bridal party included Philippa Charlotte "Pippa" Middleton as the maid of honor, Prince Edward's daughter Lady Louise Windsor, 7, the Hon. Margarita Armstrong-Jones, 8, and 3-year-old Eliza Lopes, who is Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall's granddaughter.
