Golden Globe Awards: 'The Kids Are All Right' wins ''Best Motion Picture - Comedy or Musical'
"The Kids Are All Right," which stars Annette Bening and Julianne Moore as a lesbian couple, won the Golden Globe Award for "Best Motion Picture - Comedy or Musical" on Sunday.
The movie beat "Alice in Wonderland," "Burlesque," "Red" and "The Tourist."
In the "The Kids Are Alright," Bening's and Moore's children find their biological father and the womens' sperm donor, played by Mark Ruffalo, and bring him into the family's lives.
Earlier, Benning won the Golden Globe for "Best Performance by an Actress in a Motion Picture - Comedy Or Musical."
Moore said "The Kids Are Alright" is "is kind of about all of us, what it's like to grow up, what's like to watch your child leave you, what it's like to maintain a long-term relationship, all the things that family means to us."
