Glees Jane Lynch honored at Outfest Gay and Lesbian Film Festival Jane Lynch was honored at the Outfest Opening Night Gala on Thursday and her Glee co-star Chris Colfer was on hand to present the actress with the Outfest Achievement Award. On The Red Carpets Rachel Smith caught up with the two stars about their recent Emmy nominations.

"I was thrilled; I woke up about 5:20 to a phone call from my agent," Lynch told Smith at the event. "You know I was with my wife and she was like so excited. Its wonderful to have somebody with you, to share it with."

Lynch, who plays the maniacal coach Sue Sylvester on the musical hit show, had nothing but kind words about her fellow co-star.

"Hes my hero," she said about Colfer. "Hes one of the nicest people I know. Hes just a courageous kid and hes got a lot of pressure on his young shoulders because so many people look up to him and he walks with such dignity and grace."

Colfer called Lynch "incredible," adding: "Shes one of those people that you learn from and you laugh at," he said. "Im nuts about her."
