A few members of the "Glee" cast are on vocal rest this weekend. A representative for the show has confirmed that cast members have come down with tonsillitis so the show was forced to shut down production on Friday, reports Entertainment Weekly.

The cast was set to film a big musical number for February's post-Superbowl episode. While Fox has not confirmed which member of the cast are sick, Dianna Agron posted on her blog, "Note to self ... should have gotten a flu shot. In bed, hoping that medicine, soup, my computer and a marathon of movies will be the cure."

Not to worry Gleeks, according to the magazine production is set to resume on Monday and the scenes that were scheduled for Friday will be shot in January.

According to earlier reports, the writers of "Glee" are pulling out all the stops for their big Super Bowl episode next year and the biggest trick up their sleeve will be a mash-up of Michael Jackson's "Thriller" and a song yet to be named.

The McKinley High kids will also be performing songs by Black Eyed Peas, Lady Antebellum, and Katy Perry. So despite rumors popping up on the internet, the episode will not be a tribute to Michael Jackson.

The episode is also the most expensive in the show's history, according to Entertainment Weekly, and could likely end up being one of the most expensive television episodes ever. The plotline will have a sports theme to tie into the Super Bowl and will focus on a local football championship as well as cheerleading regionals.
