The cast of "Glee" has broken Elvis Presley's record for having the most songs reach the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart in its 52-year history, with 113 tracks.

Presley, the late King of Rock n' Roll, had 108 chart entries logged between 1958 and 2003, although his career predated the chart's debut in 1956, Billboard said.

In October 2010, the cast of the hit FOX musical comedy series broke the Beatles' record for most appearances among non-solo acts in the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart.

"Glee," which stars Lea Michele, Jane Lynch and Matthew Morrison, deputed in May 2009 and depicts the lives of eclectic glee club members in a U.S. high school. The cast covers popular music as well as Broadway showtunes.

The cast's cover of Journey's 1981 rock rong "Don't Stop Believin,'" hit No. 4 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart in June 2009 and marked the show's highest-charted title.
