Frances Bean Cobain: Courtney Love should be banned from Twitter
Frances Bean Cobain said her mom Courtney Love should be banned from Twitter after making "gross" accusations against former Nirvana drummer David Grohl.
The drama began when Love posted a rant on her private Twitter account ( @CBabymichelle), accusing Grohl of hitting on her estranged daughter, which the Foo Fighters lead man vehemently denied.
According to Gawker, one Twitter message read, "I hear from frannies roommate that [David Grohl] hit on frances, and that she was curious, I'm not mad at her, him i am about to shoot, dead."
Love went on to accuse the 43-year-old married musician of being "sexually obsessed" with her late husband Kurt Cobain and claimed she had confirmation of the alleged flirtation from her daughter's former roommate and a driver.
Grohl's rep told Gawker, "Unfortunately, Courtney is on another hateful Twitter rant... These new accusations are upsetting, offensive, and absolutely untrue."
Frances Bean Cobain, who generally remains quiet on personal matters, stood up for Grohl, who has known her since she was a baby.
"While I'm generally silent on the affairs of my biological mother, her recent tirade has taken a gross turn," Cobain told Us Weekly. "I have never been approached by Dave Grohl in more than a platonic way. I'm in a monogamous relationship [with the Rambles' Isaiah Silva], and very happy."
The 19-year-old model, who is the only child of Courtney Love and late husband Kurt Cobain, added, "Twitter should ban my mother."
Frances Bean is reportedly engaged to 26-year-old Rambles front man Isaiah Silva. Cobain and Silva have been dating for more than a year and have not commented on the engagement report.
Silva did say of his relationship with the model and artist, "We're each other's everything."
