Eric Christian Olsen of 'NCIS' weds actress Sarah Wright
Eric Christian Olsen, who stars in "NCIS Los Angeles," wed actress Sarah Wright on Saturday, June 23, at the actor's property near Jackson Hole, Wyoming.
Olsen, 35, and the 28-year-old "House Bunny" actress met in 2006 on the set of the FOX series, "The Loop." Olsen proposed to Wright while they were on vacation in Punta Mita, Mexico last year.
The couple reportedly exchanged vows in an outdoor ceremony performed by Olsen's father, near the barn that the actor bought and remodeled with his father, brother and new wife.
"You hear people talk about cold feet, but there was never a moment of doubt with Sarah because no one makes me happier, no one makes me laugh more, and I can't imagine a better mother for our future children," Olsen told People magazine.
According to the magazine, the bride wore a J.Crew wedding dress while her bridesmaids wore dresses from Ivy & Aster. Olsen and his groomsmen donned Calvin Klein linen pants with TOMS shoes and J.Crew sun-bleached oxford button-down shirts.
The wedding party, which consisted of 80 family members and friends, danced to a bluegrass band and dined on barbecue. Instead of a cake, the couple had Whitey's Ice Cream shipped in from Iowa for the occasion. Olsen's first acting job was in a TV commercial for Whitey's ice cream parlor.
Olsen and Wright will next appear opposite Andy Sandberg and Rashida Jones in "Celeste and Jesse Forever." Wright will also appear in the 2013 film, "21 and Over."
This is Olsen's first marriage and Wright's second. The actress was married to A.J. Mason from 2005 until their divorce in 2006.
